About the Program
The Monsato Internship Program aims to help students “Find Your Spark.” The internship program is designed to prepare students for high speed career growth as well as the full-time employment at Monsato , providing a mini-experience of the Rotational Development program for new grads. Express program interns can expect: Challenging project assignments that develop most required personal professional and soft skills along with supporting Monsato’s strategic priorities and objectives. We are a dedicated team that provides leadership, performance feedback, coaching, and career direction guidance. The Client Company owns a Global B2B Online Directory. More than 70 countries provide accurate and extended information on more than 20 million local businesses, that is organised and collected into one worldwide B2B database. Client Company also provides various services and tools for companies across the globe to grow their business, find new prospects and convert them into clients and partners.

Skills and Technologies
• Java, JSP, Spring (Boot, MVC, Data, Security, JDBC), REST, ORM (Hibernate or similar)
MS SQL Server MySQL
• Open Source frameworks and APIs, Continuous Integration (Maven, Nexus, Jenkins), Git, Linux

Expected from the candidates
• Very good understanding of multi-tiered application development, service based application development
• Understanding of web security (OAuth, JWT)
• Experience with XML, JSON and REST
• Graduate of a technical faculty (Computer sciences, Math, Electronics, Cybernetics etc.)
• Personal qualities: very good intellectual aptitude, self-drive and ability to work independently, self-management (consciousness, tolerance)

The position requires 2 or more years of database development experience.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in solution analysis, design and architecture
• Work in a fast-paced environment which requires the ability to quickly adapt and learn to solve business issues
• Maintain and develop SSIS packages;
• Maintain and develop database components;
• Maintain system performance and develop audit strategies

Requirements:
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Good knowledge in the Business Intelligence technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to details
• Goal oriented

Applicants must be well versed and have proven experience in the following skill sets:
• 2-5 years of database development
• Experience with MS SQL 2008,2012
• Experience with T-SQL development

On this project we are working on the bleeding-edge of Big Data technology to develop high performance data analytics platform, which handles petabytes datasets. We are looking for an enthusiastic and technology-proficient Big Data Developer, who is eager to participate in design and implementation of a top-notch Big Data solution to be deployed at massive scale.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in design and development of Big Data analytical applications
• Design, support and continuously enhance the project code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
• Write complex ETL processes and frameworks for analytics and data management
• Implement large-scale near real-time streaming data processing pipelines
• Work inside the team of industry experts on the cutting edge Big Data technologies to develop solutions for deployment at massive scale

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Scala
• In-depth knowledge of Hadoop and Spark, experience with data mining and stream processing technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Akka Streams)
• Understanding of the best practices in data quality and quality engineering
• Experience with version control systems, Git in particular
• Desire and ability for quick learning of new tools and technologies

What will be a plus:
• Knowledge of Unix-based operating systems (bash/ssh/ps/grep etc.)
• Experience with Github-based development processes
• Experience with JVM build systems (SBT, Maven, Gradle)
